Alma Short-Term Rental Rules
The town of Alma, CO allows short-term rental units but has implemented a cap that is set at ten (10) in total. Once the maximum number of short-term rental units has been reached, no new permits for short-term rental units will be issued. However, applications for new short-term rental unit permits will still be accepted and evaluated based on the order in which they were received (first-come-first-served basis).
UPDATE: As of 1/16/2025, Alma has reached their cap of ten (10) licenses and opened a waitlist. Currently there are six (6) applicants on the waitlist. For context, there are 211 residential housing units in Alma, CO.
