Silverthorne Short-Term Rental Rules
The Town of Silverthorne, Colorado adopted a zoned approach to STR licensing. The zones are as follows:
Area 1: Allows 10% of properties to obtain STR license
Area 2: Allows 50% of properties to obtain STR license
Area 3: Allows 0% of properties to obtain STR license
3/18/2025 UPDATE: As of 3/18/2025, there are short-term rental licenses available in Silverthorne’s Area 1 and Area 2. Waitlists will be opened if zone 1 or zone 2 reach their license caps. Click here to see the current count of licenses available in each Silverthorne zone.
