Keystone Short-Term Rental Rules

Keystone officially became Colorado’s newest town on 2/8/2024 at 4:00 PM with the swearing in of its first mayor.  Prior to incorporation, Keystone was considered a ‘resort zone’ for short-term rentals within unincorporated Summit County. 100% of properties located within the Keystone resort zone are allowed to obtain STR licenses with no restrictions on nights rented or number of reservations.

The Town of Keystone is getting ready to accept Short-Term Rental license renewal applications for properties within the town limits of Keystone, CO. Keystone is close to launching a brand-new licensing application, and they will be keeping residents, owners, and property managers informed and prepared for the upcoming launch. The new system is scheduled to go live on August 30, 2024, and will be accessible through the town of Keystone’s Official Government Website.
